That pout! Those tiny fangs! Vampire is a beautiful Snowshoe Siamese girl. She has a dramatic mask over her eyes and a small amount of brown around her mouth, giving her that spooky look. But the similarities end there—this Vampire is one of the sweetest, friendliest kitties you’ll ever meet!
Taken in from the streets during Hurricane Harvey, Vampire is lucky to be alive. The kind people who found her made sure she was safe and happy until they could bring her to a no-kill shelter. We’re not sure what happened to Vampire before she was found, but she has a permanent head tilt which we assume is due to an old neck injury. Truly, it makes her look even cuter than she already is!
When she arrived at the FeLV adoption center, she immediately fell in love with all the other cats! Some of them hissed at her, so she just ignored them and focused on making friends with the social ones. She had some experience with dogs at her rescuers’ home, and enjoyed them. It’s unknown if she’s had any experience with kids, but she’s so friendly, outgoing and playful that it’s suspected she will do well with them.
She has a quiet little meow and will talk to you if you talk to her first! If you call her name, she’ll chirp and run to you. She hasn’t been seen climbing into a lap yet, but she does love to be petted. As far as she’s concerned, the more attention and petting you give her, the better. She’s almost kitten-like in how playful she is. She will chase her own tail if you aren’t around to play with her.
Vampire is looking for a forever home with a family who has lots of love to give. She would be so happy if her family is around more often than not. She would especially love to have another FeLV+ cat in their home for her to bond with, or maybe some kids who can shower her with attention.
